Maintenance Services Team
What does the Maintenance Services Team do?
The Maintenance Services Team are a specialist in house maintenance team who are responsible for carrying out routine, planned and reactive maintenance work, including emergency repairs throughout the university’s estates 24/7 365 days a year.
The maintenance list below gives a brief guide to some of the team’s responsibilities, but is not exhaustive:
- Maintenance and repair to buildings internal and external fabric.
- Maintenance and repair to buildings internal systems.
- Maintenance of electrical installations and distribution systems.
- Maintenance of mechanical installations and distribution systems.
- Small works projects, building, electrical, mechanical and refurbishments.
- Specialist maintenance contracts -Lifts, Automatic Door systems, Barriers, Gates, Bollards, Roller shutters, Fire Shutters, Gutter Cleaning.
- Standby and out-of-hours callout for emergencies.
